• Originally from Toledo, Ohio graduating from St. John’s Jesuit High School where I was recognized with the Bishop’s Cross Award for my commitment to service as a man for other, my training began at Brown University, where I studied Biology and Ethnomusicology, graduating with honors.

  • I earned my medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, with a scholarly focus in Medical Humanities studying music as a source of medicine/healing and disparities in health care.

  • I completed my combined Internal Medicine–Pediatrics residency at Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and Women & Infants Hospital, followed by a two-year fellowship in Academic General Medicine and Pediatrics at Boston University and Boston Medical Center, where I taught medical students as an instructor and conducted medical research.

  • During that time, I also earned a master’s degree in Health Services Research and worked in a federally-qualified health center, which strengthened my commitment to evidence-based and thoughtful care, as well as public health.

  • For the last 8 years, I have served the Greater Clear Lake Area as a primary care physician for patients of all ages at Houston Methodist.
